What is Blab and Why Should I Care about it?

BlabHave you heard about Blab?

If the answer is no, don’t feel bad. You’re not alone.

This year-old livestreaming service with the “stupid” name (my 23-year-old’s humble opinion!) is sort of like Periscope on steroids. That’s because you can have a public video chat with 4 people on-screen talking at once. For those of you who grew up in the ’60’s, picture the “Brady Bunch” with everyone in a different square.

Not only can you have 4 people on camera at the same time, but viewers can participate by typing in comments and questions in a chat box. Viewers can also give “props” to the speakers in the form of a clapping hand ala Periscope’s hearts.

If you’ve been involved in internet marketing for any length of time, you probably have heard the expression, “Content is king.” What you may not know is who coined that expression. Bill Gates! Boy, was he right!

There’s another important component to content that you need to think about, and that’s creativity. You see, it’s not only important to write useful content for your blog or website that meets the needs of your prospects. In order to get the most mileage out of that content, you need to be creative about how to use it. That means creating a variety of social media posts to promote that content.
