A few months ago, I told my family I was going on a 10-day Vipassana silent meditation retreat.

Their response: “Why? Are you crazy?”

I chose to do this after a recommendation from my coach. He had attended this type of meditation retreat before and thought it would benefit me.

Be Inspired to Make a Positive Difference in Life

What inspires you? I’ve been inspired for the last several months to record Facebook Lives that focus on the Daily Word from Unity.

What is Unity?

According to their website, Unity is the world’s premier resource for spiritual support. Their mission is to help and serve millions through publishing and media, events and retreats, a 24/7 prayer line, and spiritual centers around the world.

One of the things they publish is the Daily Word magazine, which is something my mother subscribed to when I was a child, and I rediscovered last year when I visited a Unity church for the first time.

I know this blog normally talks about social media and marketing and SEO. And I will still share articles on those subjects from time to time.
