Sales, without a doubt, are a very important aspect of business. Most likely, companies rely on their sales in order to survive and sustain their day to day operations. That is why business owners have to make sure that all the parts of their sales process are planned effectively to ensure positive results. This means that salespeople (or yourself – if you’re a solopreneur!) must execute all the steps of the sales process, which begins in sales prospecting.

Sales prospecting is the process by which the sales person verifies the customer’s desire to finally purchase the product and service of the business. The Power of Masterminds for Solopreneurs

masterminds for solopreneurs

2016 was an emotional year for me. More on that later… But one of the highlights was my decision to run masterminds for solopreneurs.

If you’re not familiar with the concept of a mastermind, its modern day origins trace back to Napoleon Hill, the author of Think and Grow Rich. In that book (which I highly recommend, by the way!), he wrote that the guiding principle of the mastermind is:

“The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony.”

Later, he expands on that, by saying…

““No two minds ever come together without thereby creating a third, invisible intangible force, which may be likened to a third mind [the master mind].”

I have seen the power of that statement brought to life over and over again over the last year. It began when I signed up for a Mastermind Bootcamp run by the amazing Jay Fiset. Then, later that summer, I invested in a mastermind training program (again led by Jay) so I could learn how to run these groups effectively.

Needless to say, I’ve been preoccupied. The good news is that she is home now. I am helping to take care of her because she can no longer walk on her own, and she has no other family besides me!
