Instagram is a fabulous social networking tool for small business owners. Did you know that engagement rates are higher here than on any other social networking site? Forrester did a study of 2500 brands and found that their engagement rates were less than a 0.1 percent on six out of the seven platforms, including Facebook and Twitter. On the other hand, they found that Instagram posts delivered a per-follower engagement rate of 4.21 percent. That means brands got 58 times more engagement per follower than Facebook, and 120 times more engagement per follower than Twitter.
If you’d like to start promoting your products and services on Instagram, tune in to today’s podcast episode. In it, I share 10 things to do on Instagram, courtesy of “Insta-expert” Sue B. Zimmerman.
