Namaste. Today we’re exploring how to merge strategic search engine optimization practices with your unique spiritual gifts so that you can create content that not only ranks well on Google, but more importantly, resonates deeply with your clients. But first, as always, I want to welcome you to Live, Love Engage, especially if this is your first time joining us. I am Gloria Grace, founder of Align to Shine Academy, and I empower women over 50 to study, step into their highest potential with clarity and confidence. And search engine optimization, or SEO as it is known for short, is how I got started in business. I started in 2009. I launched my business as an SEO copywriter. So keywords was my life, were. My life was my. Whatever it was what I did, I focused on doing that keyword research so that I could help my wonderful small business owner clients be able to rank their businesses and be able to have content on their websites that actually converted, because, again, that’s the important thing. And so I was fairly successful at doing that. You know, why am I making that? That’s interesting. Qualifying it. I was successful at doing that. Ha. There we go. Don’t dim your own light. No, I was. I was successful as at it, and. And I enjoyed it and still do still enjoy writing for clients. And when it came to doing my own content, as is often the case when we are skilled at something, we’re often really good at doing it for other people, but doing it for ourselves, sometimes not so much. And so for me, coming up with my own content that really resonated wasn’t always easy, and especially it wasn’t easy 10 years ago now. Wow. I still can’t believe it’s been 10 years since my sister was diagnosed with cancer. And it was like that’s when my life and hers, of course, really changed. But I would say my business changed, that it started me on a different path, because when she passed at the end of 2016, in my grief, I really lost my passion for SEO. And I felt like I wanted to make a bigger impact in the world. I felt like there was something bigger and along the way, because I was or had had received this idea to write a book about love, which became my. My book, Live, Love, Engage, and also sort of the reason for this podcast as well. I felt like I wanted to do something with that. I wanted to be able to write the book and you know, I was given this idea of this, what I call the love method. L O V E. Love is an acronym. And in working with a coach though, she told me she kept seeing something like spiritual SEO so that I wouldn’t leave the SEO behind. And so today, that’s what I’m endeavoring to do is to really marry the two of those together. And that’s really what my align to Shine Academy is about. It is about helping women, women to really release some of their fears, to release that mindset of limiting of beliefs and to be able to then be in alignment with their higher self so that they can shine. Because I found that when I did that for myself, it was much easier to then come up with content that resonated with, I mean ultimately with me, but also resonated with an audience. So I want to start at the basics. I want to start. Let’s, let’s go back to basics. I’m pretty sure that most everyone who is listening to this podcast, watching this podcast on YouTube, that you, you probably have some idea about what SEO is. But just to let you know, it’s basically you are using finding the right sorts of keywords. And I don’t mean just one word, but nowadays you have to do long tail keywords. So like three or four word phrases that your audience uses and then you incorporate those into your content, whether it’s, I mean, certainly starting with your website, but also even in your social media content. Because then when someone is searching for what it is that you do, they type in that keyword phrase. Ideally your website is going to come up or your posts are going to come up, even so that they will know that ah, this is someone who does that type of work and maybe I want to reach out to them. And what I’ve also come to realize is as important as that is, I mean, that’s the basics. Okay? That’s, you know, no matter what, you want to be able to do that. And here’s where the spiritual stuff starts to come in. Because our words have power. The words that we speak, the words that we write, but definitely the words that definitely in words that we’re speaking, they carry a frequency. But even when you’re writing, when you, depending on how your mindset is at the moment when you are writing, then those words are going to be infused with it and your audience is going to pick up on that. So it’s really, it’s think of it as keywords, as energy signatures and I love it. I have a friend of mine who says Words cast spells and that’s why they call it spelling. And I think that’s true. So it’s when you are in alignment with who you are and when you are really secure on what your mission is and your vision for an impact in the world and what your business does, then of course doing some research into who your ideal audience is is important. You want to be able to do that and then see what type of language they’re using to describe their pain points and their challenges and frustrations. Then you can then use that language in your content and set the intention that you’re using this language because you want to be able to support these people. You want to be able to help them to overcome whatever challenges and fears and frustrations they have. And so when you’re using those keyword phrases, set that intention that that’s what it’s going to be. That, that how you’re going to be able to. You’re using this mindfully. Yeah, that’s what I want to say. You’re using it mindfully. Now as a practical tip, I will say there is a wonderful way to be able to help yourself also hone in on a particular phrase or something or the long tail keywords. Let’s say to be able to use that in your content is Google has a people also ask section. So when you do, let’s say, okay, so let’s say for me for instance, so I would say that I want to help my clients overcome self doubt or fear of failure or fear of success. So when I put that into Google they will come up with, you know, there’s a list of results but then they will also do an example of what other people, you know, people also ask different things. Oh, I should have had. I actually did this exercise the other day and oh, and it just reminded me of another tool to use not only Google, because Google is is great but there’s another. My new favorite tool that I’m using right now is called Perplexity. And what I love about Perplexity is it’s another search tool and it uses AI. So it is Perplexity AI. Maybe I’ll put that into the resource section today of the show notes for you. It will not only when you ask it a question, it will give you a list of results. But that also includes little footnotes of resources where they got this information from. So you can go in and look at it and see. But they also have here are other questions that people ask. So similar to Google, Perplexity does this as well. So It’s a really, really, really great way to be able to help you to find out what are people searching for and what are the challenges that they’re having so that then you can use that and take a break for a second here and breathe for a minute. Okay. So when you are wanting to do this type of work, when you want to be able to create content that aligns with your ideal audience and that aligns with you. So because you, you want to be in this spiritual alignment with, you know yourself as well as who you want to attract, I’m going to give you some tips on how to be able to do this. So number one is again, I’ve mentioned this earlier, but setting an intention and really set the intention of what is you want to, not only what you want to achieve, which is important, but I think what you want. Oh yeah, what’s coming to me is what you want your client to achieve or your prospect. But not only that, how do you want them to feel? What? Oh, I just got like, yeah, my solar plexus says yes, yes, this is important, this is important to share. How do you want them to feel when they see your content, read your content, hear your content, set that intention? And that requires your having done some research and really understanding what is your client’s pain points. And here’s another idea for you of how to do that is ask, ask your own audience, do a survey and find out what are their challenges. And the reason this is really especially top of mind for me today is because I did this a couple of years ago where I, because I was in the process of creating a course and so I posted on Facebook, I guess it was, and said, you know, I’m looking at creating this thing and I would love to be able to talk to people, you know, just to do a quick little 5 minute, 5, 10 minute survey and ask you some questions. And so I did this, and I was actually reviewing this today where I asked people what are your, what are your challenges around this topic? What are your fears around this topic? What are your frustrations around this topic and how would you like to be able to overcome it? Or and what would it look like to overcome it? And then I got smart today because when I did this before, I didn’t have ChatGPT to do this, but then I asked ChatGPT to take all of these answers because you know, you can. I compiled them into an Excel spreadsheet and then I uploaded it to ChatGPT and said, okay, tell me what are the key challenges and Fears and frustrations that these women all have in common, you know, because I could have done it myself, but frankly they do it a lot faster. That is one of the beauties of AI is I really do. It will help you in this respect. And it did. So it came up with these things so you could do the same thing for your business, whatever it is that you, whatever product or service you offer, do a survey. So if you have an email list, you know, ask, send out an email asking for people for help and say, you know, I just want to get clear to make sure. Because it’s good to check in once in a while. You know, we, I think sometimes as entrepreneurs we can get complacent and just assuming that we know what our prospects and our clients needs are. And my mother taught me never assume. And if you are an English speaker and you know how to spell assume, you know why? Because you know, takes those first three letters out of you and me. So we don’t want to assume. So a good idea to check in once in a while, you know, maybe every, maybe every year and send out a survey and ask your list and post it or post it on social media or, and I should say rather than or and find out. So once you have that, you know, set your intention then, and then you can start doing that keyword research and finding which words that you want to be able to use in your content. And then start doing that and make sure that when you are creating a post or something that you are including calls to action. Of course you want to have people take the action to be able to respond to you. And then you want to be able to see how things are proceeding. What’s the word I’m looking for? Track your results. There we go. Yeah, that’s what I’m trying to say. You want to see how well this work is, your content, how well it’s performing. And so look at your analytics, see what types of responses are you getting. People commenting, are they sharing your content? And then if they are great, do rinse and repeat. And if not, then maybe take another look at it and see where you need to course correct. And if you’re not sure, then you might want to get a second opinion or ask, you know, work with a coach or if you belong to some sort of coaching group, get some feedback from some other people and ask their advice and say does this resonate with you and why, why do you think it didn’t? Or. But it’s important to be able to really take a look at what you’re doing and making sure that it is resonating so that you don’t waste time, because time is precious. We only have a certain amount of hours in a day to do our work, and then we want to be able. Have time for life outside of business and to be able to, you know, have fun or educate yourself or whatever it is. Practice self care. Something that’s very important that I’ve talked about on the podcast before. Yeah. So you want to be able to make sure you know how things are working. All right. What I want to share with you right now is something that I do periodically on the podcast and I’m getting back into the flow of doing this again because it’s something that I found that has helped me and has helped my clients to be able to really start connecting with your higher self more effectively and to really start leaning into your own intuition and making sure again that you are aligned with your higher self, your own higher self, so that you can show up in the world, show up in your business as the light that I know you are and that you want to be for your clients and your. Yeah. You know, for the people that you want to serve. So in case you are new to the podcast, what I do is a unique form of sound healing in that I am, I speak and in tone, or I think that’s the right word, sing, for lack of a better term, something called light language, which is a multi dimensional form of communication that I. I’m able to tune into, shall we say, and transmit through my voice. Some people actually write light language, but I in tune it or tone it through my voice, actually even through my hands as well. I tend to make hand signals. I talk with my hands. I just always have anyway, so it’s natural that light language would also come through my hands. And it’s a wonderful modality because it is something that really, I think I tap into it through my right brain. So it’s something very intuitive that comes through. Some people say it comes from, you know, angels or it’s galactic. It’s like whatever. It’s a language of love and it’s a frequency. It’s because our, as I mentioned earlier, you know, our words are energy. And so what I’m speaking and singing has energy and, you know, sounds are of a potent healing mechanism, I guess we should say. In fact, you know, there are books written about sound healing. And so, you know, music songs are ways to reach people with Alzheimer’s, for instance, because they will connect to that part of their brain that remembers when they had heard that song, you know, maybe 30, 40, 50 years ago, and they’ll come alive again. So what I share is something that speaks to your heart. It’s not necessarily something your brain is going to be able to translate, but it doesn’t, because it doesn’t matter. It’s something that speaks to your heart, and it’s very. It’s really good for stress relief. I mean, just as practical speaking, it’s really good for stress relief. It helps to lower your stress levels, which also then helps you to tune in to your higher self, because when you are stressed, you are not able to think clearly. Our brains, we start acting from that primitive part of our old human brain that, you know, where we dealt with fighting and flights and things like that and that fear response. But when you can relax, when you listen to something that helps you to relax, that then allows for you to then be able to communicate more directly with your higher self and open yourself up for ideas. This is where great ideas come from. I know. For me, one of the main reasons I love to meditate is because when I meditate, ideas pop into my head. It’s where I got the idea to write my book in the first place. It was an idea came into my head that said, you should write a book about love. And I thought, that’s crazy. I do marketing. That’s a story for another day. And you can get my book and read about it, frankly, because I talk about it in there, but I get great ideas that way. And so I think it’s really important to be able to relax. And so light language helps you relax. So hopefully that’s enough of an explanation. You want to check. I do have previous episodes where I’ve actually, I have a previous episode where I specifically went into talking more in more detail about what light language is. So what I’m going to invite you to do, if you are listening to this right now while you are operating heavy machinery, I would encourage you to pause the podcast temporarily and come back to it when you can be relaxed. Because what I would love you to be able to do is to be seated someplace where you can have your feet on the ground, where you can just close your eyes, invite you to close your eyes and take a deep breath in, let it out, and set an intention. This is why I always do this when I’m working with clients, is I ask them to set an intention for this message that you’re going to receive, that it will be for your soul’s highest good. In let’s say helping you to be able to be in more alignment so that you can create content that resonates not only with Google but more importantly that resonates with your ideal prospect that you want to be able to reach. So that’s the intention that I’m going to set as well, is that the message that you receive will be something that will be for your soul’s highest good and the highest good of all concerned. So again, I invite you to, if you haven’t already, just close your eyes and just allow what comes through to wash over you. Don’t try to make sense of it, just, just absorb it, love. Okay. I don’t know about you, but I felt spirit moving through me on that during that and I, I, I really hope you receive some benefit out of it. What we’re attempting to do here is to spiritually engage others through keywords, through search engine optimization, which is important, but it’s really about connecting with someone on that energetic level so that they’re going to respond, they’re going to feel your energy and say that, wow, you are the person that I want to work with. And so I hope you will take that in mind when you do your keyword research. When you’re doing your research about how to best connect with your ideal prospect, you know, finding their pain points and how to do that and figuring out the right language. But, but before you start any of that, just really set that intention that you are coming at this from a place of service. Because I am sure anyone who is listening to this podcast, I’m sure is a heart centered entrepreneur and you’re going to do that. But really be mindful about it. Set that intention that I’m going to. I want to be able to be a full service to my clients, to be able to help them to be the best that they can be. So ask for guidance. Say, you know, whatever it is, how, whatever your beliefs are, whether it’s, you know, God or just higher self, help me to be able to come up with the right words that are going to speak to my ideal audience in a way that is going to really touch their hearts and know that I want to serve them, that I’m, that I have their soul’s highest good in mind. And when you do that, you are going to be effective at attracting the clients that you want to serve, the clients who are going to resonate with you, who are going to be the people that you enjoy working with.
