The last two weeks have seen a dramatic increase and shift in awareness about racism in the United States, and around the world. This week’s funeral for George Floyd, the black man who was brutally murdered by a Minneapolis police officer, was live streamed around the world by major news organizations.

I believe George Floyd’s death will not be in vain because it has awakened the world to the plight of black people, and other people of color. And perhaps, meaningful change that will positively impact the lives of people everywhere will finally be implemented.
For any concrete change to happen, however, we need to practice compassion and empathy for all people – no matter what their race, color, national origin, sex, or religion. I share some tips on how to do just that in today’s podcast episode.
