The U.S. Presidential Election was yesterday, and as of this writing, we still don’t know the final outcome. There has been a lot of angst about the election this year, and many people may be feeling out of sorts today.

I used to get quite emotional about these events, either feeling elation or huge disappointment, depending on whether or not my candidate emerged victorious. This year, my emotional response is calm. I’m going with the flow, secure in the knowledge that I create my world and I don’t have to let outside events influence how I choose to feel.
