Amy Szumstein brings an eclectic mix of skills, life experiences and athleticism to all her endeavors, especially her business, Holistic Healing with Amy. A former international martial artist and current 2nd degree black belt, as well as a championship-winning Ultimate Frisbee player and then coach, Amy got her BSN from Carlow College and then spent 20 years as a Critical Care Nurse at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center & Trauma Hospital until she realized how little we actually know about the effects of nutrition and mindset on the human body.
FYI – We had some occasional pauses during this recording because Amy’s internet connection was shaky due to a thunderstorm.
