Early on in the Coronavirus Pandemic, women political leaders in Germany, New Zealand, Iceland and Finland, as well as the mayor of San Francisco, London Breed, rose to the occasion to implement policies that flattened the curve and controlled and prevented new cases. Yet, recent studies show that when Americans were asked who they admire as a leader, 80 percent chose a man.
