The 5 P’s of Social Media Marketing

I have a client whose business would be perfect for social media – particularly Facebook. But he is very reluctant to use this tool for his business because he doesn’t see the ROI. I’ve tried explaining to him that he’s not necessarily going to see a payoff right away because success on Facebook doesn’t happen overnight, and you have to keep working at it to see results.

That’s when it occurred to me that there is a basic formula marketers should follow when it comes to using social media: Purpose, Patience, Persistence, Passion and Profit.
