Local Search Marketing with Video: Case Study in the Making

local search marketing It’s no secret that local businesses like dentists, plumbers and chiropractors depend on local search marketing to attract new customers. I have worked with a fair share of these folks over the last 6 years. And I can tell you that they are obsessed with being on Page one of Google. And who can blame them?

If you’re new to an area and your faucet starts leaking? What do you do? My guess is, you probably pull out your smartphone and Google “city name + plumber.” And if your company’s website is NOT on page one, it’s highly unlikely you’ll get the call.

Video Aids Local Search Marketing

There are plenty of ways to help you get your website on page one, and I’m happy to help you do that! But I’ve also seen the power of video marketing. When you get a video to rank on page one for your local keyword, there’s a thumbnail image attached to it. And that image will grab the attention of a searcher, more than a plain text result would. In fact, video generates 43% more clicks on Google than ANY other search result.

The video below is one I produced for my client 888Cleanup. They are an Orlando concrete cutting, core drilling and wall sawing company. Please watch it. If you like it, I’d be thrilled if you gave it a thumbs up and left a comment!

This is a case study in the making. My goal is to get this video on Page one of Google within the next 2 months. I’ll report back and let you know what happened – and more importantly, whether my client got new business as a result. Video is good. But new customers are GREAT!
