How to Manage Facebook Page Notifications

Facebook notificationsManaging a Facebook page involves more than just posting status updates, photos and videos. It also means responding to comments by your followers in a timely fashion. Engagement is the name of the game to convert casual followers into raving clients!

To make sure you’re not missing out on any comments to your page, check your Facebook Page notifications status. If you haven’t done so lately, Facebook may clue you in the next time you visit your timeline.

If you get that message, click on the “Edit Settings” button. Or click “Settings” on the upper right hand corner of your Facebook page, and then click on “Notifications” from the menu on the left-hand side of the page. When you do, you’ll see a page that looks like this:

You can then choose how often you want to be notified of activity on your page – as it happens, or every 12-24 hours. You can also turn off the notifications, but why would you want to?

One thing I find fascinating is that there is an email notification setting. But I have NEVER received an email from Facebook when there was a notification on my page. If you have, please leave me a comment below. Evidently, I’m missing out. LOL!
