by Mike Michalowicz – I had the privilege of getting a sneak-peek at this book earlier this year, when I offered to be one of Mike’s editors. The principles he teaches in this book can help any business become profitable, right from day one. I’ve implemented the strategies and I can tell you, it’s made a big difference in my bottom line.
The Referral Engine: Teaching Your Business to Market Itself
by John Jantsch – One way to ensure you get a steady stream of new clients is to ask for referrals. It’s too bad so few business owners take the time to ask their current clients to recommend them. The Accidental Creative: How to Be Brilliant at a Moment’s Notice
by Todd Henry – This is an excellent read whether you’re an artist, writer, or an “accidental creative” – someone who needs to be come up with “brilliant solutions that meet specific objectives by defined deadlines.” The author provides guidance to help you quickly and effectively integrate new ideas into your daily life.
The Millionaire Fastlane: Crack the Code to Wealth and Live Rich for a Lifetime.
by MJ DeMarco – This book was recommended to me by YouTube expert James Wedmore, with good reason. It’s terrific! DeMarco doesn’t pull punches when it comes to teaching you how to be financially successful. He explains in details why most “get rich” books only make the author rich – not you, and why you should forget about the “Get Rich Slow” dogma financial gurus preach if you want any chance of Living Rich NOW!
Work the System: The Simple Mechanics of Making More and Working Less
by Sam Carpenter – If you’re a small business owner, entrepreneur, solopreneur, or freelancer, Work the System should be at the top of your reading list. The book shares the importance of implementing systems in your business, if you want to grow it substantially, and become an owner who wants to live a lifestyle that promotes freedom and balance.

by Richard Bayan – If you write emails, blog articles or advertising copy for your business, this book will be a lifesaver. It contains more than 6,000 words and phrases that make the difference between boring, run of the mill copy, and copy that sells.
The Tao of Twitter, Revised and Expanded New Edition: Changing Your Life and Business 140 Characters at a Time
by Mark W. Schaefer – I picked up a copy of this book at Social Media Marketing World after hearing Mr. Schaefer’s presentation about Twitter. The real-life examples and easy-to-follow steps included in the book will help you learn how to build influence and grow your business with Twitter.
