Why the Most Successful Sales People Adopt a Marathon Mindset

Ever wonder why some sales people are more successful than others?

It’s likely due to their mindset. In particular, their “marathon” mindset. Long distance runners train for months in order to prepare themselves to run 26.2 miles, or 13.1 miles, which is a half marathon. I know from experience, because I just completed a half marathon yesterday!

Sales is not a sprint. As I explain in today’s podcast, you have to be prepared to nurture your prospects for weeks, and often for months, before they’re ready to buy.
